The New York-based commercial real estate services firm has formed an industrial services group and hired Ron Berger, a former Trammell Crow Co. vice president, as the unit's managing director.

Insignia also hired Kelley A. Mitchell, a former industrial broker with Cushman & Wakefield of Florida Inc., to work with Berger in the Miami office as an industrial associate director.

In a move to strengthen its presence in the Tampa Bay area, the firm hired Rian J. Smith, a former assistant vice president with Binswanger/Klatskin, as an industrial associate director.
