Accenture Inks Plantation Place Pre-Let

LONDON-Management consultancy Accenture has ended its long search for a new London headquarters with the pre-letting of 375,000 sf at British Land's Plantation Place in the City.

LONDON-In the City of London’s biggest pre-letting of the year management consultancy Accenture has signed a pre-letting of 375,000 sf in the 507,000 sq first phase of British Land’s Plantation Place development in Fenchurch Street, EC3. Accenture also has the option to extend into the remaining space in the building, and into the second phase of Plantation Place, fronting Mincing Lane, which is currently the subject of a new planning application.

The letting covers 352,702 sf of offices at £54 ($79) per sf and 22,722 sf of basement storage space at £15 ($22) per sf. The deals means British land can star construction immediately with completion of the building due in the first half of 2004.
