The architect is Detroit-based Varner & Associates. The construction firm is Detroit-based Jenkins Construction. Christy Associates in Lansing, MI is overseeing interior design.

The building will house the charity's administrative staff and the Detroit patient care team; approximately 150 employees total.

A local, unnamed individual has donated $3 million to help with the construction of the project. The individual will be named at the grand opening ceremony.

For more than 20 years, Hospice of Michigan has provided. With 16 clinical sites across the state, Hospice of Michigan serves more than 850 people every day in 45 counties, making it one of the largest independent, nonprofit hospice programs in the country.
