Hospice of Michigan Opening HQ in Brush Park

DETROIT-The charity providing care for patients living with a terminal illness will move into a 48,000-sf facility in Brush Park with the aid of a $3-million gift from a yet-to-be-identified local donor.

DETROIT-The new administration building for Hospice of Michigan, a comprehensive care system for people living with a terminal illness and for support to their families, will open Oct. 18 in historic Brush Park. The charity will move into a two-story, 48,000-sf facility.

The architect is Detroit-based Varner & Associates. The construction firm is Detroit-based Jenkins Construction. Christy Associates in Lansing, MI is overseeing interior design.

The building will house the charity’s administrative staff and the Detroit patient care team; approximately 150 employees total.
