Catellus Begins Pacific Commons' Cushman Parkway

FREMONT, CA-The $9 million, four-lane thoroughfare is being constructed as part of the transportation demand management program required of Catellus as part of its development of Pacific Commons, an 840-acre, mixed-use project.

FREMONT, CA-Construction is under way on Cushion Parkway, a major arterial serving Pacific Commons, an 840-acre, mixed-use project in Fremont being developed by Catellus Development.

The $9 million, four-lane thoroughfare will connect the Auto Mall Parkway and Fremont Boulevard/Cushing Parkway interchanges on Interstate 880. It will serve to support the transportation demand management program to be implemented by Catellus as part of its development of Pacific Commons, while providing improved access to the dealers in the Fremont Auto Mall.

“This is a significant step forward in the development of Pacific Commons,” Says Nelson Rising, Catellus chairman and CEO. “Cushing Parkway is a key element of the project’s infrastructure, providing internal circulation and links to the rest of Fremont and the Bay Area.”
