Harbor Steps Takes Top Urban Institute Honors

SEATTLE-Harbor Steps has received an Award for Excellence from the Urban Land Institute. Distributed annually, the awards are considered among the real estate industry's most prestigious.

SEATTLE-The Urban Land Institute has named Harbor Steps, a four-tower, missed-use redevelopment complex in Downtown, one of the top developments in the world. Harbor Properties, the project’s developer, received the Award for Excellence at the ULI fall meeting in Boston.

“This award is the final chapter of a story about how one company’s vision, started some 30 years ago, can result in the creation of a magnificent project that has proven critical to Seattle’s Downtown community,” says Denny Onslow, Harbor Properties Development president. “We share this esteemed recognition with our city leaders, Seattle residents and visitors, and most importantly, our project partners for helping bring Harbor Steps to life.”

Harbor Steps was recognized by ULI as this year’s best Large-Scale (Multi-Family) Residential project, an award-competition category defined as having at least 250 units. Harbor Steps has a total of 734 apartments.
