GlobeSt.com couldn't reach Ransom for comment but brokers familiar with the project tell GlobeSt.com the developer is trying to revise conceptual plans but has no timetable for bringing it back to the ARC for a new review.

The development plans 810,000 sf of commercial and retail in Paulding county. In Cobb county, the mix would entail 150,000 sf of retail; 27,600 sf of office; and 300 residences. Paulding elected officials approved the project; Cobb officials rejected the plan.

The ARC gave the venture a low score on air quality but credited the project for having adequate sidewalks and a variety of real estate product.
