The purchase also makes it one of only two major aggregate producers in Sacramento, along with Granite Construction. The plant is located at 3417 Grant Line Road in Rancho Cordova.
By acquiring the quarry in Auburn, the company will expand its business by providing limestone and aggregates to nearby construction sites. The quarry, which is about 1,000 acres, was purchased from Spreckels Limestone Products.
