PHOENIX-In the first of what is expected to be repeated several times in coming months, a title company has leased office space in north Phoenix. Westland Title has signed for 2,600 sf of office space in the Lake Biltmore Corporate Center at 11024 N. 28th Dr.

The lease represents the first of several planned Valley locations for Westland Title, which also has leased 8,100 sf at Squaw Peak Corporate Center for its corporate offices. Pat Martin of the Phoenix office of Grubb & Ellis Co. represented the tenant. Jim Achen of Chicago-based Transwestern Commercial Services' Phoenix team handled negotiations for the building owner, Interaifa Inc.

Lake Biltmore Corporate Center is situated between Peoria Avenue and Cactus Road in a rapidly growing area of the Valley. It fronts Interstate 17, an increasingly popular area for residential and commercial development due to the newly opened Agua Fria Freeway section of Loop 101.
