The snack maker plans to consolidate three Southland distribution centers into the Brea space, which encompasses 102,361 sf. Nabisco's new warehouse is part of the 1.2 million-sf ProLogis Trust industrial complex that is located on Artesia Boulevard. Not only will the warehouse provide Nabisco with more space than its current location, but also will put the company's distribution operations closer to its regional bakery, which is located on the north side of the 5 Freeway.

Although terms of the deal were not disclosed, industry sources estimate the deal is worth about $6.3 million. Dallas-based Fischer & Co. spoke for Nabisco. Denver-based ProLogis was represented in-house.

Last year, Nabisco was acquired by Kraft Foods Inc., which transformed Kraft into the nation's largest branded food and beverage company. Between them, the two entities lease more than 1.5 million sf from ProLogis.
