The national retailer will be taking 4,000 sf at Kierland Village Marketplace, 64th Street and Greenway Road in Scottsdale; Desert Ridge Marketplace, Tatum Boulevard and Loop 101 in Phoenix; Grayhawk Marketplace, Scottsdale Road and Grayhawk Drive, also in Scottsdale. Kierland Village and Desert Ridge open in November while Grayhawk Marketplace's store will open in first quarter 2002. Also in November, a 4,800-sf location will open in Albertsons Shopping Center at Power and Broadway roads in Mesa followed by a first quarter 2002 opening of another 4,800-sf store at McQueen & Guadalupe Shops, McQueen and Guadalupe roads in Gilbert. Blockbuster Video is the largest video rental retail chain the Valley, with more than 80 locations. David Jarand of the Phoenix office of Phoenix Commercial Advisors/Chain Links represents Blockbuster.
