The properties are Harvest heights, Decatur, GA and Buford Manor, Buford, GA. They are being renamed Laurel Baye Healthcare of Decatur and Laurel Baye Healthcare of Lake Lanier.

The acquisition beings Laurel's total licensed beds to 812 with 76 assisted living beds and 800 employees.

In a prepared statement, Dennis Wheeler, Laurel's president/CEO, says the purchase is part of his three-year-old company's growth strategy to develop high-quality health care facilities across the Southeast.
