According to Tom Moore, a principal at CRF Partners, the firm, which had been searching for a new space for two years, needs more space and a more-efficient layout. The firm is spread over three levels in its current Burlington space. The new space will allow the company to be consolidated onto one level of the 275,000-sf building, which will allow for its "ability to program and plan for the future," notes Moore. SGH is in the process of doing a complete build-out of the space and is scheduled to move in next April.
Moore, along with CRF principal Glenn Rhuda, represented SGH in the transaction. Stephen Murphy of Insignia/ESG represented the building owner, Saracen Highgate Holdings. Moore points out that despite the fact that the lease was signed prior to the recent terror attacks, the firm got a very "aggressive" deal, although he declined to disclose the lease rate. Other tenants in iPark include Raytheon, Global Crossing, ITT Industries and Gateway. In addition to its space here, SGH has offices in San Francisco and Washington DC.
