SGH Takes 50,000 sf at iPark

WALTHAM, MA-Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc., an Arlington-based structural engineering firm, signed a lease for 50,000 sf here in iPark, the 12-building, 1.4 million sf high tech campus that straddles the Watertown border.

According to Tom Moore, a principal at CRF Partners, the firm, which had been searching for a new space for two years, needs more space and a more-efficient layout. The firm is spread over three levels in its current Burlington space. The new space will allow the company to be consolidated onto one level of the 275,000-sf building, which will allow for its “ability to program and plan for the future,” notes Moore. SGH is in the process of doing a complete build-out of the space and is scheduled to move in next April.
