"Having a full-time director of training and development is a unique characteristic for firms in the real estate business," says Boyd Stofer, president and chief executive officer of United Properties. "It will give United Properties an unprecedented ability to mentor and train current and new employees."

Wadsworth will focus on three areas: delivering industry-specific training for United Properties associates, establishing a mentoring program and build mentoring relationships throughout the company, and facilitate planning sessions for the company's business units and teams. A 30-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, Wadsworth joined United Properties five years ago in its corporate real estate services division, where he began a senior consultant/team leader of strategic real estate planning. He provided strategic planning support for Apogee, Chronimed, Jostens, MTS and Toro. United Properties is a full-service commercial real estate firm with 350 employees and more than 23 million sf of office, industrial, retail and multifamily properties under management.
