Automation Firm Inks $4.5-Mil Valley Lease

SYLMAR, CA-Brooks Automation signs 10-year deal for 65,804 sf at Cascades Business Park. Though leasing activity in the area has stayed fairly strong, spate of new projects has pushed vacancy rates higher.

SYLMAR, CA-A company that specializes in the manufacturing and distrbuition of automation devices has signed a $4.5-million lease for space here in the northern end of the San Fernando Valley.

The 10-year pact will provide Brooks Automation with 65,804 sf inside the Cascades Business Park. Greg Geraci and David Harding of CB Richard Ellis represented Brooks Automation in the transaction. Developer Oltmans Construction Co. was represented by Geraci, plus three other CB Richard Ellis brokers.
