BIRMINGHAM-In one of the biggest office lettings in the West Midlands this year HM Customs and Excise has leased the whole of the Spectrum office development. Located in Birmingham’s business quarter, on Edmund Street B3, Spectrum is being developed by Frontier Estates and an in-house client of Baring, Houston & Saunders, part of the Dutch-owned ING Real Estate.

Spectrum provides 56,800 sf of offices on seven storeys behind a dramatic full-height glazed-façade. It also has 60 secure car-parking spaces. The letting is for a 15-year term at a rent of £18.95 ($27.42) per sf, totalling £1.167 million ($1.69 million) per annum. Letting agents were Knight Frank and Insignia Richard Ellis.
