Owner/Developer Harbor Properties, headquartered in Seattle, tells GlobeSt.com that signing Holistic Tao to 3,235-sf makes Harbor Steps "Seattle's first retailer to offer full-service, on site yoga facilities."

Art of Illusion, located directly across from the Seattle Art Museum, signed on for 1,400-sf of the North Tower's 15,000 sf of retail space. The original-art store, owned by Scott McCallum, features a collection of paintings dating from 1870 to the present. The third newly-inked tenant is the artsy, high-speed cyber café, SeattleCafe.com, which will occupy 2,880 sf.

Earlier in the month, Harbor announced that Harley Davidson has leased 2,052 sf in the Northeast Tower. "An announcement will be made soon on Harley's official opening date," says a Harbor Properties spokesperson. Lease rates were not immediately available.

Harbor Steps other towers include the Southwest with 17 floors, 164 apartment units and 21,000-sf of retail space, and Southeast--a 25-story tower combining retail/multi-unit residential and 15,000 sf of retail. The northeast tower has three levels, totaling 28,000 sf, of Class A office space.

Harbor Steps was this year's recipient of ten Urban Land Institutes Awards for Excellence, with the downtown luxury-apartment complex, receiving the award for best large-scale multifamily project in the country. The key designer of the complex was David Hewitt of local Hewitt Architects.
