Calpeak, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp., purchased almost three acres of industrial space at 201 Enterprise St. in Escondido for $1 million for a peaker plant. The company plans to build a49.5-megawatt peak power generation facility. As it did in all three deals, Burnham Real Estate Services represented Calpeak. Business Real Estate represented the sellers, Ronald and Colleen Lister.

In San Diego, Calpeak leased about 18 acres on Harvest Road for $2.3 million. The company has begun a 49.5-megawatt power plant. Brad Thornberg represented the owner, CIF Holdings LP.

In the third deal, Calpeak leased 14,135 sf at Mission Trails Industrial Park at 7365 Mission Gorge Road. The deal is valued at just over $540,000. Calpeak will open an operations center for all its power plants statewide in the park. Trammell Crow Co. represented the lessor, Mission Trails LLC.
