Power Producer Picks Up Three Sites

SAN DIEGO-Burnham Real Estate Services has brokered the purchase of three properties in the county by Calpeak Power, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. that develops energy "peaker" generation plants.

SAN DIEGO-Calpeak Power, a maker of energy “peaker” generation plants, has acquired three properties in the county for a total of nearly $4 million.

Calpeak, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp., purchased almost three acres of industrial space at 201 Enterprise St. in Escondido for $1 million for a peaker plant. The company plans to build a49.5-megawatt peak power generation facility. As it did in all three deals, Burnham Real Estate Services represented Calpeak. Business Real Estate represented the sellers, Ronald and Colleen Lister.
