William R. McLaurin, president and CEO of the Coronado-based financial institution, says the 280-room foreign student housing facility is located in the "Little Italy" area of downtown San Diego.
Bank of Coronado Lending Vice President Rick Logan headed the effort to arrange financing for the project, McLaurin reported. The Little Italy area, located near Downtown, is undergoing an extensive redevelopment program that includes new retail, housing, hotel and office space.
