Lockwood Greene Engineers Inc. of Spartanburg, SC is the general contractor. The new structure will replace several older buildings on the site.

The expansion will increase plant capacity through the addition of new production equipment, canning and packaging equipment and increased warehouse and shipping areas, according to the Texas research firm that daily monitors development plans of national manufacturing companies.

A.J. Bush founded privately held Bush Brothers in 1908. The company then had one production plant in Tennessee and two plants in Wisconsin. The company posted fiscal 2001 sales of $240 million.
