The company tests chips for companies such as AMD, Cirrus Logic, Motorola, NVIDIA, and STMicroelectronics and already is under way with improvements to the flex space. It has a sales office at the Stone Creek II building, 11921 N. MoPac Expressway, close to the Domain.
ISE Labs is 80% owned by ASE Test Ltd., based in Taiwan. ASE, in turn, is 51% owned by Advanced Semiconductor Engineering Group, also based in Taiwan. ASE Test reported revenues of $21.42 million in September, a 49% drop from September 2000.
David Sheldon of the Endeavor Group, which owns the Domain along with two partners, represented the Domain in the transaction. Mary Jane Brey of Brey & Associates in Round Rock negotiated on ISE Labs' behalf.
