The national architectural firm hired Stanczyk at a time when it is working on five mostly mixed-use multifamily-commercial developments in South Florida with a combined project value of about $228 million.

With more than 20 years' experience, Stanczyk most recently worked as a senior project manager at Nichols Brosch Sandoval & Associates. Over the course of his career, Stanczyk has worked on commercial projects comprised of high-rise apartment complexes, mixed-used development, luxury hotels, institutional facilities and tomaster-planned projects.

Stanczyk earned a bachelor's degree in architecture and a master's degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Miami.

Dorsky Hodgson maintains design contracts on phase two of the $58 million, New River Village, a 410-unit multifamily-retail project; and the Waverly, a $40 million, 304-unit mixed-used apartment-retail project, both in Fort Lauderdale.

In Miami-Dade County, the firm also is designing One Riverview Square, a $15 million, 165,000-sf riverfront office building; Coconut Grove Metro Station, a $60 million, 400-unit multifamily, hotel and retail project; and One Aragon, a $55 million mixed-use apartment, office and retail project.
