The site is located at the northwest corner of 99th Avenue and Indian School Road. Avondale is a fast-growing suburb about 12 miles west of downtown Phoenix. A midyear 2002 opening is targeted.
The Jack in the Box restaurant is going up in an area that's attracting more residential and commercial development. The intersection where the restaurant will be built–99th Avenue and Indian School Road–is just a half mile west of the newly opened Agua Fria Freeway section of Loop 101, which runs through the West Valley and connects Interstate 17 and Interstate 10.
Mark Bramlett of the Phoenix office of Grubb & Ellis Co. negotiated the lease for Jack in the Box. A Phoenix team from Pacific Cos. represented the land owner, Nicoli Investments LP, based in Phoenix.
