Private Trusts Make $8.3-Mil Retail Buy

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA-The Goodwin & Danzig Family Trusts acquire 45,872-sf portion of Santa Margarita Marketplace, the latest in a string of retail-property transactions over the past few weeks.

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA-A portion of the Santa Margarita Marketplace retail complex here in this South County community has been sold for $8.3 million.

The property, which encompasses 45,872 sf and houses a Linens N’ Things store, was acquired by Goodwin & Danzig Family Trusts. It was sold by K&G Marketplace LLC, which completed the Santa Margarita Marketplace last year.

The retail complex stands in the 30500 block of Avenida de las Flores, along the 241 corridor. The overall development has about 300,000 sf of retail space.
