In a statement, MIE executives say that when they hit 50% lease-up, they will break ground on the next four buildings. When completed, the center will provide close to one million sf, with 620,000 sf of office space and 320,000 feet of flex/R&D space. The office park already houses the US Census Bureau's supercomputer facility.

Phase II of this project calls for the construction of 50,000 sf of restaurant and retail space, as well as a full-service conference center and hotel. MIE--established in 1971 --owns, or has developed, more than eight million sf of commercial real estate in the Baltimore region.
