After several months of competition, C&C was selected by the technology firm, which specializes in high-speed data communications, to exclusively represent it. Cornish & Carey is an owner/member of Oncor International, a consortium of over 50 commercial real estate companies providing real estate brokerage and consulting services to corporations in more than 200 international markets.
C&C Client Solutions Group, a division of Cornish & Carey Commercial, will work with NEC to efficiently manage acquisition and disposition transactions in its real estate portfolio on an ongoing basis.
In addition, the firm will supply NEC with support services on an as-needed basis, including Strategic & Master Portfolio Planning, Financial Advisory, Portfolio Administration, Project/Construction Management, "Turnkey" Facility Build-Out, and Architecture, Design and Specification.
"NEC is delighted to join in this alliance with Cornish & Carey," says Robin James, property manager for NEC. "We are confident the innovative Client Solutions services they provide will enable us to simplify and streamline our real estate transactions and enhance our overall performance. We also value CCCS' ability to leverage Oncor's international capabilities in its representation of NEC."
NEC Technologies made headlines this week as it secured $26 million in additional funding from investors ITOCHU and NEC USA, Inc.
