Williams will handle valuations, economic underwriting, research and due-diligence work at the locally based firm which focuses on multifamily properties. Prior to TIAA-CREF, he worked as a credit analyst in the global operations division at Salomon Brothers, now Salomon Smith Barney.

Williams earned a bachelor's degree in finance and a master's degree in business administration, with an emphasis on real estate finance, at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.

Atlantic Realty Partners brokered about $440 million in sales last year. Through May of this year, the brokerage closed on $244 million in sales with another $200 million in pending contracts.
