The development stands at 1130 Research Drive. It was acquired by privately held Silagi Development & Management Co.

The seller is New York-based Guardian. Tom Pierik, Larry Talyor and Dave Mudge—three brokers in the Ontario office of Lee & Associates—represented both parties in the transaction.

Though office sales here and in other parts of the Inland Empire have recently slowed, several small and mid-size buyers in the area remain active. The area's long-term outlook is buoyed by the fact that the region is still among California's five fastest-growing areas, brokers say.
