FOXBOROUGH, MA-Lincoln Property’s proposal to develop a 102,150-sf warehouse facility here on Route 106 between Saxon and Truax Lane is being met with fierce local opposition from residents who are gearing up to do battle with the Texas-based company.

According to Marc Resnick, the town planner, the planning board is currently reviewing the company’s plans and Lincoln has filed a notice of intent with the local conservation commission. The problem, as Resnick tells GlobeSt.com, is that the location of the proposed facility is directly across from a residentially zoned area that is home to a new neighborhood of upscale homes. The facility’s location is commercially zoned but nearby residents contend that this area is not appropriate for a warehouse facility where trucks will be driving by their homes on narrow, curvy roads.
