Austin-based SCC Development Corp. handles the leasing of the new retail center at 3600 RR 620, just north of Texas 71. The Home Depot, which opened in August, is the only tenant so far.
The store, which would be Target's seventh in the Austin area, would be smaller than most other Target stores. The site can be no bigger than 116,000 sf because of zoning in the village of Bee Cave. Typical Target stores averages 126,000 sf. Its Greatland stores are about 135,000 sf and SuperTargets have a footprint of about 177,000 sf.
