Colorado-based Castle Rock Industries bought ProChem in April 2000. Now it is consolidating operations to cut costs.
Castle Rock has a plant in this southwest suburb of Denver, that makes similar equipment as the plant in Prescott. Both plants are operating at only 30% of capacity, so it made sense to the company to move the Prescott operation to the newer and bigger operation in Colorado.
