Ron Barnes acquired the property for about $1.9 million from Michael B. Furst, who owned it for seven years. Sanford Burstyn and David Guido, both of Marcus & Millichap's Phoenix office represented the seller while the Phoenix office of RBI acted on the buyer's behalf.

The 22,600-sf center is part of a larger retail development on the corner and was 100% leased at sale time. Furniture Connections, which was not part of the sale, anchors the retail development.

Positioned on five acres, the shopping center is located on the southeast corner at the intersection of Main Street and Greenfield Road. It's also within a few miles of several retirement communities, including Leisure World, and a number of major motor home parks.
