Elness Swenson Graham Architect Wins AIA Award

MINNEAPOLIS-Tracey Jacques, also a part-time instructor at the University of Minnesota, wins the AIA Minnesota 2001 Young Architect Award for his transit center designs at Mall of America as well as two stops in Downtown.

MINNEAPOLIS-Tracey Jacques, an architect at Elness Swenson Graham, has recently won the AIA Minnesota 2001 Young Architect Award. The award is given to an individual who has been a practicing architect for less than 10 years and has shown exception leadership in service to the profession, the community, design, planning, and education.

Jacques was cited for his design leadership in the areas of corporate, transit facilities, hospitality and student housing. He recently worked on the design of the Mall of America’s LRT station in Bloomington, MN, the Warehouse District Station in Downtown Minneapolis and the LRG Station on Nicollet Mall, also in Downtown Minneapolis.
