The PFK unit projects occupancy for this year will dip to 61%, down 8.2% from 67% in 2002. Occupancy next year will fare no better with an estimated 60% occupancy. A turnaround in 2003 will raise occupancy to 65%, generally considered by hoteliers as the break-even level.
Revenue per available room this year is projected to slide by 6.2%.
