KLNB will become NAI's exclusive affiliate in the Baltimore-Washington region, managing office, retail and industrial activity in Washington, DC and Virginia. The new NAI KLNB, Inc. will also manage retail business in the Baltimore area. Before the new arrangement was announced, KLNB handled only NAI's office and industrial business in Baltimore. Despite the name change, the company is to remain a financially independent organization.
NAI is an organization of more than 160-member real estate service providers and is headquartered in Hightstown, New Jersey. It services over 200 markets around the world. The new arrangement gives NAI increased coverage in the mid-Atlantic region, and it allows KLNB greater exposure to business opportunities.
NAI KLNB Principal and Senior Vice President Andy Georgelakos says the renamed firm will focus on corporate services. He explains that the company plans on "handling business on a transaction and consulting basis, and helping those companies headquartered in and around DC with worldwide efforts."
