PORTLAND, OR-Cascade Biologics, a supplier of cell cultures and molecular-biology products, is relocating its headquarters and research facility from its present location in Hillsdale to the Custer Street Building, according to published reports.

Located at 1325 S.W. Custer Dr., the firm will occupy 13,200 sf of the building's total 30,000 sf when the $800,000 renovation currently underway is completed. Locally-based Gray Purcell Inc. is performing construction services on the project, with completion scheduled by year's end, the report adds.

Founded in 1964, Gray Purcell specializes in the construction and renovation of commercial and industrial buildings.

Hawkin Au is overseeing the project, and VLMK Engineers provided design services. Cascade Biologics will relocate 16 employees into the new site performing research and development, production and business activities.
