The new tenant will occupy 13,694 sf in the two-story office building, according to the terms of the 61-month lease. Built in 1979, the 45,000-sf property is located at 3501 Harbor Blvd.
Applied Scholastics will relocate to Santa Ana from its current facility in Hollywood. The organization, which is based on the philosophies of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, was founded in 1972. It has more than 20 locations across the world, including Taiwan, England, New Zealand and Russia.
Lonnie Riddle and Chad Carlberg of Grubb & Ellis' Orange office spoke for Applied Scholastics. The landlord, The John R. Saunders Trust, was represented by Phil Cohen and Barry Knudson of CB Richard Ellis' Newport Beach office.
