WASHINGTON, DC-The John Akridge Companies takes its first step in a marketing campaign for one of its office buildings, which will be erected in downtown Washington, DC in the summer of 2003. Visitors to the site have access to a thorough list of details on the structure. The property will house both office and retail space. There will also be a four-level parking lot in the building, a feature that is of great importance to businesses in the District. Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum Inc., designers of the Washington area’s popular Air and Space Museum, is the architectural firm behind this project.
However, it is the prime location in the “new downtown” area–where cultural and dining options surround premiere businesses–that John Akridge is touting the most. Details on these area businesses and other opportunities are also available with the click of a mouse. “Demand for space in Washington, DC will remain strong as the business community responds to the ongoing progress and achievements of Mayor [Anthony] Williams and the District of Columbia City Council’s revitalization efforts,” explains John Akridge Senior Vice President Brian Connolly.
