The initial phase of the project will result in two one-story buildings for flex use, and a single-story building that will house lakefront offices. All together, there will be nearly 120,000 sf of space available for lease among the three structures. Baltimore-based MIE Properties expects to have no problem attracting companies to the park, which boasts its own interchange at U.S. Route 50 and Maryland's Route3/301.
MIE President and CEO Edward A. St. John, says the new office community project "has been designed to serve companies between Annapolis and Washington, while offering an important office niche in Prince George's County." Over the last 30 years, the company has built eight million sf of office, retail and industrial space throughout the Baltimore region.
