The Buffalo, NY-based company, Rich Products Inc., will use the industrial facility to manufacture, prepare and package its line of ice cream and cake products. It is planning a February 2002 move to the facility, which stands at 12805 Busch Place.
Rich Products was represented by Phil Norton and Steve Calhoun of Colliers Seeley International. Steve Sprenger and Lance Parker of Grubb & Ellis' Anaheim office spoke for the landlord, San Francisco-based Wilson & Geo Myer Co.
The Santa Fe Springs industrial market has remained fairly steady throughout the course of the year, as the vacancy rate here rose only slightly from 5.4% at the end of the second quarter to 5.6% at the end of the third quarter.
