Completed in 1987, the building houses the operations of pottery maker Marlin Manufacturing, which is owned by investment group Marlin-Davidson. Marlin Manufacturing will continue to occupy 49% of the facility, which stands at 302 N. Townsend St.
The Santa Ana building has been snapped up by Tho Luu, who owns Garden Grove-based Century T.V. and Appliance Corp. Century T.V. will take the remaining 51% of the property.
Luu was represented by Liem Nguyen of Prudential Real Estate. Gregory Ozimec of Voit Commercial Brokerage's Irvine office spoke for Marlin-Davidson.
"Both parties benefited immensely from the transaction," Ozimec says. "Not only was Century able to acquire the building it will occupy at a great value, but Marlin Manufacturing was also able to remain in a portion of the building where it had established its business."
