The facility will serve as the main distribution hub for Piacenza Logistica, which is headquartered in Piacenza and serves several companies located adjacent to the park.

''ProLogis Park Piacenza is one of the newest facilities in Milan,'' says Ranald Hahn, senior vice president for ProLogis. ''The park's modern features and ideal location will make it possible for Piacenza Logistica to better serve its customers. Milan is quickly becoming a key hub of distribution activities due to its prime location between Western Europe and Mediterranean Europe."

ProLogis Park Piacenza is located at the intersection of the A1 and A21 highways, offering access throughout Italy and other Southern European countries.

Milan is the economic capital of Italy, and is expected to grow into a key distribution hub offering Mediterranean and Southeastern European companies direct access to Northern and Western Europe. ProLogis Park Piacenza is the first ProLogis development in Milan, with 32 acres held for additional development.
