MUNICH-Germany emerges as the most popular new destination for international retailers, according to new research from Healey & Baker released at the Expo Real property exhibition in Munich. Over the five years until 2007, 173 new international brands are likely to open in Germany; followed by Spain with 162 new entrants and the UK with 151.

Central Europe is also high on the list of international retailers, with the Czech Republic forecast to see a doubling in the number of international retailers present over the five-years to 2007. Equally, Hungary can expect an 82% increase and Poland 61%.
