Yusen's new building stands at the corner of 190th and South Harborgate Way. The 120,000-sf complex includes 96,000 sf of distribution and warehouse space plus another 24,000 sf of office space.

Irvine-based Snyder Langston broke ground on the $4-million project in January. The two-story concrete tilt-up was designed by Satoh Brothers International in Gardena.

Privately held Yusen provides air and sea cargo services, as well as trucking and even insurance. It is the latest of several logistics-related firms to move to the South Bay, which is near both ports, Los Angeles International Airport and several key road and rail lines.
