CoStar Lands a Major Client in Equity Office Properties Trust

CoStar Group Inc. will now provide Equity Office Properties Trust, the nation's largest publicly held office property owner, with real estate information in 18 different markets. CoStar's vast Internet database of market information places the company near the top the list of information service providers to the commercial real estate industry.

BETHESDA, MD-CoStar Group, Inc. picks up a new client as it closes a deal to provide Chicago, Illinois-based Equity Office Properties Trust with property information in 18 markets. The financial terms of the multi-year agreement have not been disclosed.

CoStar has made a name for itself in the national real estate market by supplying commercial brokers and investors with an inclusive Internet database of properties, tenants and market news for evaluating opportunities. Touting CoStar’s vast resources, President and CEO Andrew C. Florance says that “with our comprehensive national coverage and sophisticated research process, it makes sense for commercial real estate firms operating in multiple markets to rely on CoStar’s standardized data and information.”
