Casey Borgers, an industrial specialist with NAI/Commercial Industrial Properties Inc. in Austin, represented the building owner, Miller Blueprint Co. Century's building is next door to Miller's blueprint-blue building at 10713 Metric.

Century takes half of the 10,000-sf building, built in 1978. The building's other half is occupied by Miller Blueprint. The new space is 3,000 sf to 4,000 sf larger than Century's previous location at 9702 Gray Blvd., also in the north submarket.

Century Rain Aid sells landscape irrigation products and low voltage lighting equipment for residential and commercial users. Moline, IL-based Deere has been building a landscaping business by buying companies in local markets. It seeks to take a bigger share of $100-billion "green" industry, comprised of outdoor power equipment, irrigation, nursery, fertilizer and chemicals, lighting, parts, tools, and landscape services.
