Outlet Owner Hangs New Shingle in Anthem

ANTHEM, AZ-A name change to Outlets at Anthem reflect the new ownership and location, says Craig Realty Group of California, which now controls the most popular outlet mall in the region. At the time it was named, the Anthem community didn't exist.

ANTHEM, AZ-The most popular outlet mall near the Valley is getting a new name just weeks after getting a new owner. The Prime Outlets at New River is now being called the Outlets at Anthem by Craig Realty Group.

The name change reflects the strength of Anthem, a 5,600-acre Del Webb residential development directly across Interstate 17 from the outlet mall. In the next decade, build-out will boost the population to 50,000, according to forecasts.

“Our new name better represents the exact location of the center and eliminates the identification of the previous ownership in the name of the project,” says Matt Schnepf, general manager for Outlets at Anthem. A new logo and signs will accompany the decision.
