Bandspeed had about 3,000 sf in Lantana I, which it sublet from Silicon Laboratories Inc. Bandspeed has about two years on the new sublease in Lantana II. The buildings are near the intersection of William Cannon Boulevard and Southwest Parkway in Austin's southwest submarket. Stratus Properties Inc. owns them.

Bandspeed is developing to increase the performance of broadband technologies such as digital subscriber lines and wireless communications equipment. It raised $15 million in venture capital funding in June. JatoTech Ventures and MSD Capital led the round. Headquartered in Austin, Bandspeed has research operations in Melbourne, Australia.
